went to college 5 hours from home. Thought it was the perfect distance... it wasn’t. Feel like I’m living two lives. I am who I am because of how I react the my environment. Yet those two environments are different simple because of time.

Just had practice tonight. Enthusiasm and the pure joy the kids have for being there makes it even harder to enforce distancing. Gonna suck telling them we aren’t gonna have a season. Don’t know forsure but it’s looking that way.

I coach H.S. football and I’m seeing how much kids need activity. It’s not even about the sport. It’s about the interactions at practices, tasks, accomplishments etc... that help grow them into men of character. Coronavirus is affecting so much.
Makes me think about sports. I went and played football at an NAIA college... they don’t give out full ride scholarships... but I wanted to play football. I always say, I’m $50,000 in debt just to keep playin football and essentially retake high school.
