My driving question is "What will this information do with me?"

I need a Twetch livestream.
If you want insights about career success, get out of your head and get into the world.
The feedback you get from engaging reality will be far more accurate and useful than all the advice from people whose stories will never be identical to your own.
Don't let social media trick you into thinking you need to become a journalist or commentator to change the world.
Local relationships are still real.
Most of the difficult and important work lies in that realm.
And most of it won't be reported on.
Thanks Timmy.
The question is not "What do you want to create when everything is going well?"
The question is "What are you willing to build when the world around you seems to be falling apart?"
I believe in the value of difficult discussions, but I also believe that some difficult discussions are a complete waste of time.
Just as you need to use critical thinking DURING a discussion, you also need to use critical thinking BEFORE a discussion.
In every age, there are people who say that difficult discussions are "not worth it because everyone gets mad and no one listens."
But...
There's ALWAYS someone listening & learning...even if they aren't as loud as the ones who are laughing & leaving.
If you genuinely believe you have a way of communicating that offends no one, you are naive.
Thanks @2
When you give up your need to have the last word, you find the courage and freedom to say the first word.
Me and @931 had a convo on riots, race, greatness, and a lot more.

The best thing you can do for the disadvantaged is get serious about your own potential.
Want to help the have-nots?
Maximize your ability to create value.
You can't spread wealth & success from a place of disparaging those things in your own life.
One of the most liberating ideas I ever discovered was this:
My capacity for doubt can serve me in more than one direction.
My need to be positive went away when I realized how fallacious and unsubstantiated most of my pessimistic assumptions were.
Me: "I'm not worried about X."
Other people: "You're really optimistic."
Me: "No, I just prefer to demand evidence for claims about what I should be afraid of."
Skepticism isn't just about questioning your faith. It's also about questioning your fears.
"Regulation-friendly" ≠ "Let's never create anything until there's an established policy for every possible use of bitcoin."
It = "Let's lead the way in educating lawmakers and let's work hard to not give them a bunch of easy excuses to kill our efforts."
Me too. And I've also never related to the idea that Satoshi needs to be right about anything other than bitcoin.
When people in say "it doesn't matter who Satoshi is," they don't really mean that.
What they really mean is "It matters very much that we never know who Satoshi is because it would be bad for Bitcoin if Satoshi was someone we didn't want him to be."
I think Roger will come around to supporting and endorsing BSV.

The gift of philosophy is that it shifts our standard from "What qualifies them to speak?" to "How can I assess their ideas in a way that doesn't require me to place faith in their sincerity/status?" Truth is about propositions, not popularity or pedigree.
