As miners become more dependent on transaction fees, they become more incentivized to demand a stable protocol.
As long as miners are comfortable w/ the coinbase, they can afford to be less concerned about meddling developers.
Time changes everything.

Thanks for the shout out, @6695
Bitcoin is about distributing trust, not dismissing trust.
It's about shifting our trust from individuals to incentives.
People will trust you w/ their knowledge before they trust w/ their money.
As the saying goes: "when it comes to money, people are funny."
When the features of BSV are proven w/ data, they'll believe it works w/cash.
Metanet = proof of work for cash.
Bitcoin is the Jackie Robinson of traditional finance.
It's going to change the way the game is played while also opening the door for all the other gamechangers who have been excluded from the system.
Big Short Version (BSV)
When the internet was first born, everyone was happy w/ their magazines & DVD's.
The internet wasn't neccessary...until it became so good that it was.
Now we're in the magazine phase of money & the DVD phase of data.
BSV isn't necessary, but it will be.
Saying we need a bunch of different blockchains is like saying we need a separate internet for email, a separate internet for watching movies, a separate internet for playing video games, and so on.
No, we just need one internet that's actually useful.
My disinterest in altcoins is not based on religion. It's based on a recognition of what BSV can do at scale.
It's not that I don't believe other blockchains are trying to create solutions.
I just don't buy their story about the existence of the problem.
Thanks for the shout out
I'm not a BSV maximalist.
I'm a BSV rationalist.
Because I understand what bitcoin was designed to do, I'm not easily excited about a bunch of blockchains whose value proposition is based on misinformation about bitcoin's limitations.
The blockchain is a data structure.
Proof of work is an incentive structure.
Satoshi's vision wasn't just about HOW we record transactions. It's about WHY we record them & WHAT makes those records reliable in a trustless system.
BSV, not blockchain.
Newsflash: you are NOT obligated to pay attention to EVERY opinion.
Focus on YOUR goal, learn from anyone who helps you get better at achieving THAT, & ignore the rest.
You're here to fulfill a mission, not to be liked by everyone that will ever exist.
You can't be the hero of your own story without being the idiot in someone else's.
Ha! The irony.
Just as radio and TV were placed inside the internet, the internet itself will be placed inside the Bitcoin(SV) network.
Education is not a place, it's a process.
In the near future, nearly all crypto commentary will be reduced to desperate attempts at explaining why the success of BSV should not be counted as evidence for the success of BSV.
Sometimes people argue with you because they think you're wrong.
Sometimes people argue with you because they know you're right and they want to drain your energy in order to distract you from stepping into the power that truth brings.
Vanity: "excessive pride in or admiration of one's own appearance or achievements."
Reverse Vanity: the refusal to share one's gifts & talents due to a fear of being seen as vain.
Don't let reverse vanity kill your impact.
If your biggest priority is to make sure you never look like a fool, you'll miss out on the best opportunities for acquiring wisdom.
For the creator, the question is not “is it okay for me to feel this way?”
The question is, “what is the most authentic and constructive way for me to work with the feelings that I have?”
