The ascent of the prisoner out of the cave is the way of the philosopher. The problem for him is that he has to go back into he cave to tell everyone else that what they are seeing on the wall are merely the shadows of reality. But the problem is.....

For Plato's Allegory its the Sun because the sun is the CAUSE of the shadows. When the prisoner ascends, he is initially blinded by the sun but keeps going up towards it. His eyes eventually become accustomed to the suns light (reality).

The importance of the Allegory of the cave can be traced throughout western history. It continuously gets revived over the years, especially in pop culture. Most notably, the Matrix movies general premises are built around Plato's allegory in a modern form

I know 1 person who had corona virus & I know 2 people on Twetch. But I was the one who infected the two people 😕.
