Federal laws of the United States should have expiration dates and government must prove conclusively they serve the general good rather than a small group of special interest, or expire as unconstitutional.

If government has no mechanism to shrink functionally, then it will grow uncontrollably and inevitably collapse under its own weight as a grotesque parasitic entity.
I don't know and don't have the time to do a close look. But free usually means its economics are parasitic.
I don't know and don't have the time to do a close look. When you do a system analysis, free usually means that its economics are parasitic. Somebody has to pay the bill.
Powping is not doing any sort of branching or retweet so curation will not be strongly incentivized. Curators save busy people time, so I'm going to have to go on record to say that's is a mistake.
in economic depressions people die..lots of people. It will eclipse Covid-19 several times over.
Tell me River, how many people do you know who have died of Covid-19? Is it worth the mass destruction of social bonds and economic frameworks that is happening? Greatest Depression here we come!
I'm not going to use BoostPoW because I don't really care for content that is pretty much exclusively upvoted by advertisers. There's no incentive whatsoever for altruistic upvoting so clearly that won't happen on a large scale.
Now that I think about it BoostPoW boosted content is nothing but expensive spam. A well formed non-boosted email means it might not be about about separating me from my money.
cold call content
Something boosted with BoostPoW is Proof of Advertising. Maybe it is better than a random email from a stranger. But is that really saying much? If I read any cold content, I want to get paid. That's the best way to ensure my time is not wasted.
BoostPow is like uploading a picture to Bitcoin and using a large transaction fee. It's not proof of anything other than you have more money than you should that you can burn it on fees. But hey, miners gotta eat right?
I just discovered Elite Dangerous. I like it a lot.
Gregster probably hacked Twitter. Seems like his style.
I like Twetch so I'm probably not going anywhere. Some of my powping a wow wow loot is probably going to be spent here.
Sorry don't have the desire to hack on Twetch. I'm far more likely to try to implement an ERC-20 work-alike.
As a developer, you don't want to hard wire limits. You implement intelligent defaults, but allow the users to change everything that is important.
Then you were right.
It's absolutely brilliant to make free posts(free section?) & responders pay the bill for putting it on chain.(Having the choice is even better!) That was the proposal, but powping actually went a different way. That means Twetch has a second chance.
I want the Upvote token. I think it would just be fun to pass Upvote tokens back and forth. And it would give newbies the option to cash them out so they can go OG and pay to post, which isn't that expensive to have your brilliance live forever.
After you meditate on upvote systems until your nose bleeds, you realize fundamentally they're advertisement systems. So what do you implement? Something that lets users determine how upvote loot is disbursed.
Not just that. There's a real world value in it. I can't tell you how many stores still have terrible online inventory. And tokens provide a way to sell your products and discover what price you should be selling it by letting them trade the tokens. +more.
I think the theoretical part of Tokenization on BSV is very easy. A specific set of BSV can be moved to specific addresses to represent tokens. The hard part is putting in place the infrastructure for asset custody, token issuance, and redemption.
Tokenizing in this way is not a side chain. It's just taking advantage of the fact that Bitcoin isn't truly fungible. But I will say that I believe tokenizing real world objects and product services is the future because it leads to better price discovery.
When you trade real tokens, not scam coins pretending to be valuable, it is literally price discovery for the the item or service that the token can be redeemed for.
I knew about that. I'm stingy in the sense that I want to sponsor at the post level, not the person level. HumanPoW.
I asked them to integrate Twetch as a share option. Some of the posts over there need to live forever.
Twetch should integrate with Powping and allow people to sponsor content to simultaneously write the posts to blockchain and send a little BSV to the non-BSVer. It's brilliant onboarding that Twetch lacks.
Free posts are a good thing. Just make them not go on the blockchain if they're not sponsored. I've said it many times that is something I would be willing to do for some non-BSVers particularly. But for some BSVers too honestly.
I don't really see what is so complex about this. Of course you can filter to ignore the likes of anonymous cowards or people without reputation or other criteria that renders bogus likes worthless.
On associations and your activities on the platform. It should be characterized more as a profile than a reputation. And a profile system should be able to easily separate the sybils from real people because the profile is based on humanPoW.
