A key to making upvotes more valuable is to give more weight to likes of those who you follow or whoever the AI says likes the same things you do.

Dare I point out that upvotes are simply tokens and do not require BoostPoW to implement? Implement the token and the optimal fee structure and that is all there is to it.
The amount you Boost is proportional to how much you think of content, but it will also be capped at what you think you'll get on your ROI. If not, you go broke. Both input and output of the system is distorted. And it is inherently cold call ☹️.
They expect that money to go back into their pocket indirectly or they're not going to upvote it. Don't delude yourself.
There is some entertainment value in posting to Twetch. It's interesting when you see someone is obviously influenced by something you've said. I find it very satisfying cerebral entertainment..worth every penny.
Upvote systems are all fundamentally advertising systems. There is some altruism seemingly, but mostly people are trying to get some social or actual currency from upvoting things.
BoostPoW is a cold call advertising system. In general, those don't work well. Believe it or not, MLM advertising systems work great due to an incentivized network. They succeed until advertising isn't necessary anymore, which is a very short time frame.
Why would someone structure incentive and Boost as well? And how does that not translate to higher product costs. I think you BoostPoW peeps did not think about the economics of the entire system.
Twetch could make it so that it's lucrative to curate successfully. If you're bad at it, you lose 4cents..ah well. But If you're good at it, you could earn a big chunk of the upvote loot! Or BoostPoW..and no one but "miners" gets the nonexistent loot.
If I'm right, if you see something Boosted, you'll just see something that might as well say "advertisement" written all over it. Do you look at those? I don't. Costly signals from strangers don't mean much to me.
Let's be honest..does BoostPoW incentivize strangers to upvote your content? If not, why in this universe do you think it would create a better upvote system? Everybody will boost their own content, especially if they're selling it. They do already.
Twetch sucks, then you discover who posts good stuff and follow them. Then doesn't suck as much. Then favs start talking about things you hate so you unfollow. This is when you learn that curation is important, but upvoting is disincentivized. So sad!
It costs money to put content on Bitcoin. On the average that results in better content. But that content sinks to blockchain oblivion because people are disincentivized to upvote it. But if they have a great shot of recovering that money or making money?
BoostPoW and theoretical fee structures like Paychain are negative sum. Implement both and it's just an expensive system with the former basically being parasitic and unnecessary. BoostPoW incentivizes only advertisers to boost..yeah that's better🙄.
I find Twetch pretty cool. I think there is good content, but people are not incentivized to filter the content for others ...There ought to be a way to make money doing that. Implement BoostPoW!🤪 . Don't implement a fee structure like Paychain.
It's harder for politicians to lie if the evidence is immutably recorded on blockchain. Corrupt governments thrive on hiding their misdeeds.
I see tokens as the inventory systems of the future. Not only will there be tokens, but those tokens will have records associated with them that details their history such as physical location, owner, etc. Evidence trails provide security.
The thing about making a general Tokenizer is it's just what the doctor ordered to show to the public at large that tokens are fun, but only the ones backed&audited have any value. That said a token that tokenizes everything is a token of everything.
Somebody needs to implement Tokenizer, if not just to kill the shitcoin ecosystem. I definitely think that will help towards that end.
Oh man..now my feelings are hurt.
My Tokenizer idea is great. We have all the components to make that happen. And since the key to tokenizing things is how you back that token, I could foresee a stable coin coming from that idea.
I guess you could throw some money my way so I will feel encouraged to rant ideas that will make you money. I like those little payments..something addictive about them. I really want BSV to succeed even if i have to give away ideas.
I remember 2017 when my buddy tried to get me to buy tokens...and I refused. Even then I wondered what I could redeem for them. I did my research and most of the time it was nothing! 2017 was amazing and insane. In a different way than 2020.
I guess I lied about being done brainstorming. Go ahead and steal my ideas..I have an endless supply of them and do not feel threatened in the least.
Jack C. Liu will probably take my idea and run with it. I'll take that bet.
Just imagine all the transactions on BSV. Insanity. I think BSV could buckle under the strain like BTC did in 2017.
BitcoinAndBeyond could create a new section of its site just to review the explosion of shittokens created by Tokenizer. It would be hilarious.
The app could be called something clever like "Tokenizer". Yes, not original but it makes up for it by making its use obvious.
Tokens can be easily retired. Just stop accepting them for payment of services and honor redemption. If they are backed that should not be a problem. In ToS , you could guarantee redemption for a finite time. In practice calculated on last issued token.
I'm looking forward to Twetchbucks, selling for $20 per 2000 Twetchbucks. And it will costs one Twetchbuck to post on Twetch.
