Why tokenize USD Jack.C.Liu @255 ? Gold seems like a much better choice.

I dare say Paychain is less theoretical thinking than BoostPoW. Signaling, whether BSVers admit it or not, involves psychology. That's why the whole BoostPoW theory doesn't pass my baloney detector. But greed can always be relied upon.
Teranode is the most important project in Bitcoin. Tell the BSV node developers you love them often. I'm not going to hide it..I love them.
The second most important project in Bitcoin is Bitcoin Association's Technical Standards Committee. It hasn't dawned on too many that writing to blockchain using arbitrary standards will create noise on the blockchain.
I know I seem like an asshole because I criticize BoostPoW all the time..especially since our beloved Daniel Krawisz came up with it. Honestly, I love Daniel too. But anything we spend a lot of time on needs scrutiny. No sacred cows!
The other advantage of having a Technical Standards Committee is that standards are well documented. Some people, like myself, are spoiled brats that won't develop on undocumented platforms.
One of the things I thought of doing first for BSV was to document it. Two conclusions I reached 1. Wouldn't stabilize until after Teranode 2. Writing data to blockchain is not based on standards yet. But I think BSV is definitely on the right track.
I don't think of BTC as competition to BSV. It seems to be quite stable, but it is castrated and fails to scale for any genuine use case. It is probably a source of lot of my cynicism towards humanity that BTC is still a thing.
I'm happy about the stabilization of standards associated with Bitcoin. BitcoinSV is so far ahead because at least BSV knows they should scale and stabilize the core protocol etc. The "competition" is just a big unstable pile of poo on all levels.
I've heard of a generalization of this ... It was called, let me remember ... Paychain. Yes good idea. Let's go with your idea because I remember the Paychain guy telling me BSV is just a toy until Teranode completes.
The censorship on Youtube and Twitter is brutal. It's unfortunate that people have to feel the pain before at least hedging their bets.
anybody heard any news about what's going on with the Teranode project?
Is a government's fiscal life different than its actual lifespan as an organization?
Boost Mining is not Proof of Work that can be used as signaling in a general context. It's like using a hammer for everything.
I can't delete Twitter. I like too many normie accounts. I tried to lurk, but I also like to respond sometimes. Ah well, I am a traitor to Twetch.
Must monitor your content filtering network closely. It seems that even the most powerful minds go through phases of unreliability. And everyone is vulnerable to falling in love with wrong ideas.
What does the troll toll mean when they don't specify an amount?
Twetch seriously needs some kind of tag system. It seems unfortunate that I have to unfollow people because they go down the road of polluting my feed with drivel about religion. A religious mind is infected and cannot be uninfected w logic and reason.
I see why you have picked up the "religion" rope. It's a fantastic example of false costly signaling. Humans, you just can't count on them to think clearly!
People are powerful, but you must know their limitations. In general people do a bad job of judging their own work. That's why we work together.. So we don't delude ourselves.
In general people don't do a good job at judging other people's work either. That's why we naturally develop network of people who we trust to help us. That works. But the quality of your network still depends on you.
In any system, you can't have a fundamentally bad input and expect good results (output). This is known as the shit-in-shit-out principle.
I don't believe in charity for wannabe-miners.
It doesn't scale. When you get a large set of Boosts, people still cannot inherently judge their own content. So as the set grows, the signal to noise ratio approaches zero.
You need to pay for good ideas or people will spend their time working an unrelated day job instead of making more good content.
I don't disagree with you. But when you look at an upvote system you have to look at the entire set of votes. In general, people cannot accurately judge their own content. So you will always be looking at a system with a low signal to noise ratio.
Yeah, I'm not seeing normies play that game. I have thought it through and I think the only way BoostPoW lives is if it provides cheap associations between content and reviews, hashtags etc.. But for people boosting their own content, it's an epic fail.
with BoostPoW,
No. I think the results of BoostPoW system would be comparable to boost systems with better economics. Thus any business that implements BoostPoW will be at a disadvantage to businesses that uses boost revenue better.
