Sell it and never look back. BTC is a bad joke.
Not only is BTC not Bitcoin, but it is a parody of Bitcoin that is centrally controlled by developers who hate Satoshi Nakamoto's vision for digital cash.
I really like getting lots of tiny little payments.
If you are already a Twetcher, it might be cool to request or choose a sponsor. How pleased would someone be to start getting payments for every like you receive? We would create a happy culture of paying each other.
Between sponsors and gift cards, I think BSV apps could really take off and be profitable. Get em' hooked with sponsors then they'll buy, or get people to buy, gift cards so they can continue their fun.
I'm a twisted bastard. I think it would be fun to sponsor some BSV haters so they could use Twetch.
Imagine this scenario: Donald Trump signs up for Twetch and requests a sponsor. I accept..get him started with 20 dollars .. This generates a Paychain referral record, and I get a cut of fees for likes he receives. He didn't need to think about BSV.
Can people sign up for a money button wallet without leaving the settings of a web application yet? @385 I'm going to need that in a big way for what I have planned.
There are two basic types of boost systems 1. rating systems- boost based on ratings or likes..and 2. promoted - organizations or individuals can spend big and boost high.
Paychain is fundamentally based on referrals. That is the whole reason why the foundational data structure is a linked list of what are essentially referral records. The referral records go all the way back to the content creator record.
'YouTube CEO: Users don’t like “authoritative” mainstream media channels but we boost them anyway' . Boosting must be organic / community driven or people will hate it.
Simple idea of how to pay content creators. I claim no original ideas. The computer science is old.

I am actually quite optimistic about BSV. Teranode looks likely to separate Bitcoin data structure from Bitcoin node, which throws the door wide open for the read side. Mining nodes don't seem very incentivized to serve up data at the moment.
R/W API
It's not just the Bitcoin protocol that needs to set into stone. Both read/write throughput has to be high. R/W protocols and filesystem need to be established and well documented. No good reason why programmers from other fields should be shocked.
All my hopes are on Teranode project. I hope that results in a really great read/write throughput for the Bitcoin data structure.
My background is information systems. Within five minutes of studying BTC, I judged it harshly based on its transaction rate and the fact they swear by full nodes..which is extremely ridiculous.
I look at Bitcoin as a form of cloud based Network Attached Storage, and it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me yet. Using BitDB to scrape Bitcoin? Why doesn't Bitdb receive the Bitcoin data structure directly? Confusing.
I'm not sold on Metanet. That's my dirty little secret that prevents me from building on it. Most apps are slow. I think Bitdb is a "middle man" hack that needs a promotion.
Love BSV as cash though.
The primary effect of modern social media is to provide an abundance of confirmation bias. Take that knowledge and raise your guard accordingly.
When things scale up, nobody cares about the stuff under the hood. The thing they might notice, however, is whose getting paid.
@343 interested in implementing Paychain on the back end of your True Reviews site? Seems like it might also be possible to expand the scope of your business to rate content generated on BSV apps like Twetch or Streamanity.
Not worthless. But probably as valuable as the "Promoted" ads on Twitter. Essentially Boost is the same model if you ignore what's under the hood..except probably less refined because those Twitter "boosts" are weighted based on my accumulated profile.
@24 I'm not fundamentally against your Boost. I just don't think it will lead to accurate signals. Big firms cost average failures. So any system like yours will have a high level of false positives and still be profitable for Big Marketing.
If you do a box diagram, it pretty much is. The debate on whether the costly signal will be effective or appropriate seems to have devolved to a religious one.
I'm not sure our ideas on Boost systems are completely incompatible. You won't catch me Boosting anything, but I'll be happy to give the boosted content an accurate 5 star rating.
I call dibs on using a 5 star rating system on the front end.
Why Like instead of Boost? Because in addition to their post getting more visibility, content creators also get paid with a Like. Seems like a good idea. If you don't pay them, they will not be as prolific.
*Even set priced Likes would be fine. I'm just thinking of having a more direct analogy between the two ways of doing things.
