phone company giving me extra mobile data during lockdown as if that's somehow useful because i can't go outside :/
thinking about making a BSV stats twetch bot using the twetch SDK. does it exist? and would anyone care?
it could report BSV price & # of txs daily
lol why
"Newspeak is just quantum grammar" - that is seriously beautiful. i am so using that.
i think it's intensely ironic that you, "The anti-Marx", have almost perfectly mirror marx's quote "Religion is the [...] opium of the people" 😂. i believe he also says religion is the "cause of real suffering" - or something along those lines.
interesting, more irony - now i'm not sure if you are quoting orwell but he was on the extreme-left for most of his life - albeit, he was more of a social democrat when he wrote that quote in 1984. how interesting
ah, and you're also a fellow fan of orwell? i'm liking you more and more :)
by "no more capitalist countries", i presume you believe that capitalist countries have previously existed. i can guarantee that country was not secular. and so, we can (at least partially) attribute the rise of capitalism to religion.
sure, i can understand that interpretation. but let's look at the facts. the vast majority (if not all) communist countries/societies have been/are wholly atheist. however, there are few secular capitalist countries.
how come? all communist countries to date have put the wiping out of religions to the highest priority. religion is full of inequality and so seen as an oppressor of the workers. imo, of all ideologies, communism is the most anti-religion.
no prob, it's nice to see a fellow atheist on twetch
ah, i see. thanks for the explanation! that is a really cool concept. i'm still not sure about the premise that a blockchain-internet would be cheaper than the current internet, but i'll certainly be looking more into it! cheers mate.
could you give an example of functions of the internet which require "human intermediaries" for verification? i'm not sure what you mean. and why would these functions not need this in a blockchain-internet?
because a network of P2P miners + nodes is, unfortunately, not an efficient use of electricity when compared to a centralised server farm. it's the price we pay for decentralisation. hashing miners is more costly than a CDN serving data.
i'm sceptical of this view as the computational power required for a blockchain-run internet would be significantly more than what is used right now. could we really power the blockchain on such a massive scale?
sorry, we'll try harder, we promise ;(
is your corona beard coming along nicely? or am i the only one too lazy to shave right now :P
i'm not quite sure how the term "social distancing" is in any way misleading or distorted to mean something it is not. so how is it doublespeak? seems pretty clear to me 🤷
just finished watching Snowpiercer (2013)! if you enjoy the themes of dystopia, revolution, and class warfare, then you'll love this film! highly recommend. it has the same director as Parasite!

i think so. i just sent a twetch, payment occurred, but i can't see it anywhere 😔
i hope i'm not alone in saying that crypto is helping tide me over this economic downturn. a source of income which does not rely on the traditional economy is so refreshing!
all praise blockchain! 🙏
wow bitcoin social media, this'll be interesting
