Not sure if this helps, since I am just a script kiddie.
But have you looked into "project babbage"?

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

/pay @1766 $0.6

I only had 1.47 left and didn't knew so here is the rest.
If you look up the first transaction it was only 0.0202 BSV.

Should be fine now, if there is missing something, let me know.

Stop kicking at each other.

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

I wouldn't take the risk of being sued^^

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

Nope.
I can opt out whenever I want.
So I'd say that "tax" is the wrong word.

Good luck, thank you like always :-)

I understand and would agree.

Breaking narratives apart which are embedded and connected in your mind and other stuff is depending on it is really hard.

An from what I have read in the german BTC group most are not willing to even consider another point of view.

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

*german BTC telegram channel

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

Maybe.

I have spent the last three months in the biggest BTC Telegram Channel to reflect upon my narrative.
And I found "them" quite toxic, arrogant and ignorant.
There are even people in there who, besides being pro BTC think the same way: treat newbies or altcoiners friendly and neutral and do not call them shitcoiners and so on.
But they are the minority. Can't speak of the thousands of members who are just reading though.

In my opinion most people won't buy into BTC because the people who are already in there are not perceived as "nice".
Endless bragging is not the way of making friends.

But I obviously may be wrong.

Thanks a lot,, but I think I have to make an account on Twitter finally.

Not sure if it is worth the trouble though.

Do you know how long they have given the "relayx is closing down" information in advance?

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

Not on Twitter and just have seen it.

I remember I got some SAITO tokens which Jack said he stored in a Wallet.
What is happening with that, do you have any information?

Little bit short noticed, at least for me.

Will hold PXL though :-)

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

That was fast, thanks a lot :-).

I already have saved it back then, but not in colour I think.

Hahaha, yes I know what you are referring to^^.

My "good reason" has been just sitting in front of the computer sometimes…

Did several fasting periods in my life but last year I just wanted to try the christian version just for the sake of trying that specific date during spring.
And afterwards I had no vibes and wanted to keep going.

I have missed it during social interaction though.
I felt completely retarded and awkward.
Even after that one year, social interactions are still hard without alcohol, at least for me.
Peer to peer is fine, but groups are a hard one.
Overall I got better "at it" though.

But having experienced both sides I'd say that regular drinking is not good for your body and mind.
However, I'd say, that a beer once in a while has probably more beneficial effects than negatives on me.
Like once a week.

But thanks for reminding me, that alcohol isn't good :-).

Congratulations on finding your sports!
Mine are climbing and calisthenics for about 20 years.
One of the most constant habits and best anchors I have.
I really like JiuJitsu though and maybe I will invest some more time.

Not sure if you remember, but you posted a picture of a lonely standing palm once.
In the background was a smaller area of trees.
Already tried to find it in your media history, but can't get further than spring 2023.

Can I use said image at some point in time for a blogpost?

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

You would rethink what you just posted if you would live in Bamberg.
A city with over 200 breweries in a 20km radius.

Kidding. Sports is better than alcohol.

However: I have been fasting on alcohol for about a year now and just started to drink alcohol recently again.
During that year I probably didn't drank more than five beers in total and maybe three shots of liquor.

After that fasting period I would say that "the dosage makes the poison" can be applied to alcohol as well.

Jiu Jitsu is a very good sport though.

But sometimes a beer is better than jiu jitsu :-).

If true, and I am not sure about it, there seems to be a three years membership limitation before group members are able to drop out.

And Meta hasn't been a membership for three years yet, so even if they wanted to get out I am not sure if they can.

Maybe he tries to copy Paul Logan.

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

Looks like a beef steak to me.

Or he learned to shave.

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

Sorry for the late reply, haven't been much on Twetch over the last weeks.

The difference to any other property is, that with bitcoin/BSV you could restore the initial "state".
You can't do that when gold is robbed, because access is lost, you can't do that with a broken vase or other costly decoration or with cash when stolen.
You can blacklist it or can have the police searching for it.
I have no numbers, but I'd say, that odds of getting it back are low.

Since bitcoin is digital you can restore the initial state.
Probably only for a certain amount, at a yet unknown cost/benefit ratio.

The problem I see with insurance is, that insurances can never make sure that no insurance fraud is happening.
So blacklists would emerge.
And it would be a one way street: coins could only get "tainted" but couldn't get "washed clean".

Anonymous crypto like monero with "not your keys not your coins" are fine with me, and I personally think, that there is a demand for both scenarios.
But under normal conditions I wouldn't put "all my money" into something, where a natural disaster can destroy my seed phrase, all my backups and even those of my friends and family, leaving us all with nothing, even though we could proof, that certain keys are ours.

Or take the coinbase/exchanges example: half a million bitcoin lost, even though everybody knows that it has been coinbase's bitcoin.
(Meant coinbase, not coinmarketcap, sorry for the mistake).

Not sure if a protocol like that would get adapted.

To what degree this concept will be abused is another question and is the main reason, why I think there will be demand for both kind of protocols: anonymous with not your keys not your coins and a transparent one with confiscation_tx or something similar.

Same with everything else: you can take a car to drive from A to B or drive it through the pedestrian precinct and kill people.
Same with bitcoin and confiscation_tx: you can use it to restore the initial state or you can use it to confiscate the stuff of inconvenient opposition.

That is the reason why I think, that besides CSW being Satoshi or not, being a liar or not, he has a point.

Not necessarily.

Confiscation Tx will always ever will work as "totalitarian" as the majority thinks that it has to be.
Not necessarily perfect, sure.

What happens if the perpetrators are not found or die? Coins lost, even though "everybody knows" they are yours?

I think there is a usecase for "not ur keys not ur coins", but I do not think that the majority will apply it.

Have to go to bed right now, but looking forward to the discussion.

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

Which ways?
Sure there are, but all are based on "the old world".
Which isn't necessarily bad.

In my opinion the fact that "gold can turn to lead" can be seen as a feature as well as a bug.

Agreeing on the "totalitarian thieves" part in so far, that the contemporary legislation is just a sick joke.

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

Yes, Craig.

Just meant in general the fundamentals of BSV, if there are any.

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

Similar.

But how does "honesty" doesn't overlap with "no confiscation"?

So even an obvious coinm*rketcap.com million/billion thievery wouldn't allow for confiscations?

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

Agreeing on the first part.

What exactly do you mean by "screwing up bitcoin"?

How could control ever be regained without reassigning coins?

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

BTC kept pumping in price, while BSV kept pumpin in transactions.

Sure, in BSV, there is also a lot of fake. but overall there are more "real world transactions" happening on BSV than on BTC.

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

Aight, but don't you think he has a point?

15Ergm…XqvV Key · twetch

How many trees had to die for that undertaking?
