I just realized what I wrote, I made a big mistake.
Do NOT host it! I repeat: do NOT host it!
Since I am a junkie, I would be in front of my smartphone all day.
Host the android .apk-file somewhere, where I can download it please.
Should be good practice for all enterprises, especially since there is github.
Really sad, that in most cases one needs to install the play store or go over a third party store, which is very inconvenient, especially when money is involved.
That's because most Twetchians are to ashamed to post the lame ones.
Proof of their bad luck will be onchain forever^^
If you go out into the snow, EVERY snowflake is an EXOTIC!
Oh, and its free.
Let that sink in!
Take the money go to a rehab and get your addiction treated accordingly!
Take me as an example: I only minted three Nakas because I have my addictions completely under control^^.
can some1 spot me .05 BSV so I can mint a 4th Naka 🙏
Twetch, gimme your address I will broadcast my transaction over postal.
Failed to broadcast every single time so far.
Ah small quote from the book which is a discussion from a presentation:
When Burkhard Heim is 40 years old, writers and students visit him in Göttingen
and, among other things, ask him how he thinks about his fate. Surprisingly, Heim
appears to be quite content with his situation:
“I have the impression that whatever happens is a priori right the way it is, and that I
should not interfere with the plan that is behind everything. I take the view that whatever I am faced with is right and is the optimum in light of the given circumstances
anyway. Some things might seem bad to me, whereas in reality they are not, because
everything is right the way it is. I say to myself: I have a certain mission, no doubt.
Because my existence as a human being must make sense. So it is my job to fulfill a
certain purpose. That is the sense of my whole life in general. That purpose is to be
fulfilled. That is essential. Whatever I need for fulfilling that purpose I will be provided with anyway. After all, if I didn't get what I need for fulfilling my purpose, it
would be senseless to exist at all.”
Mr. Klockmann from Hamburg says this sounded rather fatalistic. But Heim disagrees:
“No! I don't think so at all. You see, I absolutely affirm the awareness that I have a
purpose. The important thing for me is to learn what that purpose is. And that is what
I have to work towards.
Of course, absolutely nothing drops into one's lap. I always have to try to find out
with excitement and energy how I can achieve the fulfilling of that purpose in a better
way. That doesn't come to me by itself. I can't just put my feet up and say ‘Ah, things
will work out all right.’ That’s not possible, that’s clear!
If I did that, and I was absolutely fatalistic, I would fundamentally thwart that fulfilling of my purpose. But I will do everything in my power to fulfill it.
I have already undergone 25 surgeries, and I will do it again. That is always very
hard, especially if you don't feel any pain, but you know what is lying ahead of you.
In those situations, you really have to kick your butt before you actually go into the
hospital. But I am positive that all that is right. The result of all those endeavors will
definitely be the way that I can fulfill my actual purpose. Whatever is needed will be
provided anyway... When I look back on my life, I must say that everything has made
sense. Everything came at the right time.”
/pay @13442 $1 for sharing his unique experience :-)
Thank you very much for that explanation, I will try it out tomorrow.
Since I would make use of it in a similar way like you described above I think I will go for the shared partition. I have no high risk profile. Just like to keep things separate because in my opinion it is just good practice and with only a little effort you will probably never get hacked. Worry free like you said :-).
So far I am using Fedora and have different browsers for different risk levels. For banking and whenever money is involved I am using a VM with virtualbox.
But it would be very nice to have different VMs for installing stuff like you mentioned above. Virtualbox is fine, but the interaction with sharing folders and external usb devices doesn't work out of the box, is very buggy and I can't really get it wo work. Even simple copy paste is a nightmare^^.
With qubes it seems to work out of the box so far and I would have everything in one place. Additionally it would be optimated for running vms.
However, enlarging the partition would still be nice since I would try to make "guild wars 2" work with Lutris on a template/vm for gaming and it needs a lot of space.
If this works out I will probably switch over completely. Otherwise I will keep Fedora as a backup, especially for occasional gaming.
Good backup feature is always appreciated.
The Illobrand Ludwiger guy tried to summarize Burkard Heims work as good as possible. Just found out, that he was into UFO research as well and that he died this year.
I have bought a book once in german. Found the english translation here: http://heim-theory.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Illobrand_von_Ludwiger-The_New_Worldview_of_the_Physicist_Burkhard_Heim.pdf
But there is not much information on Burkard Heim in general, since most of his stuff didn't got translated into english and even the german stuff is said to be very hard, even for people who studied physics.
When reading the book I was only able to grasp what I would call "the essence" of it. But I did not understand any of the formula or algebraic :-D.
Juhuuu, perfect :-).
Yes, please. I installed it as a secondary OS on a 1000GB SSD to try it out.
My problem is the following: I have the templates and everything and I think I know how they work.
However, when I want to copy my music collection "into" the work template i.e. it tells me, that there is not enough space available, since the template virtual partitions seem to be only 12GB (or similar) in size.
How can I expand those partitions?
I would like to have one template, where I can store my ebook, music and video collection so I can access them in qubes.
I would like to listen to music while using other templates as well.
I hope you know what I mean^^.
Already thought about installing it again and keeping 500GB of the SSD as a separate partition which then will be mounted so I could access it separately.
Some additinal questions if you do not mind:
why do you use it and how did it work out so far? Any best practices or general tips or tricks?
Whoever is into technology, the efficient use of resources and minimalism I would highly recommend this blog.
Also for those who want to live off the grid and are searching for sustainable methods.
A lot of knowledge in this blog and the guy knows how to write. I love personal masterpieces like that.
He is bringing up CO2 from time to time but in his case I do not mind. Very narrow and objective, no political blah blah or we are all gonna die.
At the top you can choose between "Low-tech-solutions", "High-tech-problems" and "Obsolete technology".
One of the most fascinating things I have read so far, is the mechanical transmission of power (water for example) with ropes and nearly no energy losses when used locally
It would beat even our modern energy grid up to a distance of five miles since you have no energy loss due to energy conversion.
Anyone on here has some experience with the linux operating system "qubesos"?
Not sure as well. I think the most basic experience which everything one earth, even stones and mountains experience, is the simple and fundamental experience of life and death.
One enters, one exits. And many experiences in all its variations in between those two points. Most of all "decay".
I do not know what is "on the other side" but my guess would be, that all dimensions merge, time doesn't exist and that everything makes sense, because you see all the connections from other dimensions which are responsible for emotions, thoughts, actions and many more things in the background.
As humans we are only able to experience the results of all those hidden dimensions/background-networks, but we have no knowledge about how they work let alone being able to analyse or map them.
The closest "scientifical approach" I have stumbled over so far would be "Burkard Heim" and his "12 dimensioal approach".
A guy named "Illobrand von Ludwiger" is still pushing it and tries to make sense of it.
A longer quote from Alan Watts out of "The Book - Against the Taboo of knowing who you are" which most certainly is not the truth but at least a good story:
Myth, then, is the form in which I try to answer when children ask me those fundamental metaphysical questions which come so readily to their minds: “Where did the world come from?” “Why did God make the world?” “Where was I before I was born?” “Where do people go when they die?” Again and again I have found that they seem to be satisfied with a simple and very ancient story, which goes something like this:
“There was never a time when the world began, because it goes round and round like a circle, and there is no place on a circle where it begins. Look at my watch, which tells the time; it goes round, and so the world repeats itself again and again. But just as the hour-hand of the watch goes up to twelve and down to six, so, too, there is day and night, waking and sleeping, living and dying, summer and winter. You can’t have any one of these without the other, because you wouldn’t be able to know what black is unless you had seen it side-by-side with white, or white unless side-by-side with black.
“In the same way, there are times when the world is, and times when it isn’t, for if the world went on and on without rest for ever and ever, it would get horribly tired of itself. It comes and it goes. Now you see it; now you don’t. So because it doesn’t get tired of itself, it always comes back again after it disappears. It’s like your breath: it goes in and out, in and out, and if you try to hold it in all the time you feel terrible. It’s also like the game of hide-and-seek, because it’s always fun to find new ways of hiding, and to seek for someone who doesn’t always hide in the same place.
“God also likes to play hide-and-seek, but because there is nothing outside God, he has no one but himself to play with. But he gets over this difficulty by pretending that he is not himself. This is his way of hiding from himself. He pretends that he is you and I and all the people in the world, all the animals, all the plants, all the rocks, and all the stars. In this way he has strange and wonderful adventures, some of which are terrible and frightening. But these are just like bad dreams, for when he wakes up they will disappear.
“Now when God plays hide and pretends that he is you and I, he does it so well that it takes him a long time to remember where and how he hid himself. But that’s the whole fun of it—just what he wanted to do. He doesn’t want to find himself too quickly, for that would spoil the game. That is why it is so difficult for you and me to find out that we are God in disguise, pretending not to be himself. But when the game has gone on long enough, all of us will wake up, stop pretending, and remember that we are all one single Self—the God who is all that there is and who lives for ever and ever.
“Of course, you must remember that God isn’t shaped like a person. People have skins and there is always something outside our skins. If there weren’t, we wouldn’t know the difference between what is inside and outside our bodies. But God has no skin and no shape because there isn’t any outside to him. [With a sufficiently intelligent child, I illustrate this with a Möbius strip—a ring of paper tape twisted once in such a way that it has only one side and one edge.] The inside and the outside of God are the same. And though I have been talking about God as ‘he’ and not ‘she,’ God isn’t a man or a woman. I didn’t say ‘it’ because we usually say ‘it’ for things that aren’t alive.
“God is the Self of the world, but you can’t see God for the same reason that, without a mirror, you can’t see your own eyes, and you certainly can’t bite your own teeth or look inside your head. Your self is that cleverly hidden because it is God hiding.
“You may ask why God sometimes hides in the form of horrible people, or pretends to be people who suffer great disease and pain. Remember, first, that he isn’t really doing this to anyone but himself. Remember, too, that in almost all the stories you enjoy there have to be bad people as well as good people, for the thrill of the tale is to find out how the good people will get the better of the bad. It’s the same as when we play cards. At the beginning of the game we shuffle them all into a mess, which is like the bad things in the world, but the point of the game is to put the mess into good order, and the one who does it best is the winner. Then we shuffle the cards once more and play again, and so it goes with the world.”
This story, obviously mythical in form, is not given as a scientific description of the way things are. Based on the analogies of games and the drama, and using that much worn-out word “God” for the Player, the story claims only to be like the way things are.
There is a good quote from "Malcolm Merlin" out of the serie "arrow": "pain is inevitable, suffering is optional!"
Perspective and point of view. I like it!
Maybe the question is: "is it happening TO you, or is it happening FOR you?"
You are literally set free inside of a miracle, brother.
Whether you are grateful for everything around you and everything you experience here - be it pleasant or painful - and take it as an opportunity to learn and grow, or see it as punishment, is up to you.
Maybe the question is "is it happening TO you, or is it happening FOR you?"
I am a big fan of the manga "one piece" and I think that the "void century" isn't just something Eichiiro Oda came up with by accident.
Maybe there are some parallels to the medieval and dark ages. Wrong and/or erased history?
The internet is the biggest distraction engine ever invented.
Thanks as well, always a pleasure and honor to participate :-)

The more addictions and dependencies you are able to dissolve, the freer and more independent you will be.
Te person who can sleep outside and live on nuts, herbs and water is one of the most independent persons on earth.
Especially since it is not just about "power corrupts", but that the underlying problem is creating a single point where that power is concentrated and which can be attacked.
Even if the possessor of such powers is 100% honest and isn't accepting any bribes or stuff alike.
As long as he has emotions attached he can get blackmailed by threatening his loved ones or similar scenarios.
I personally would break and give in.
The only solution I see is to avoid such concentrated points of power which can be attacked alltogether.
Yes, biggest red flag there is, whatever the topic.
The state never allows competition or in other words a control study.
Because the moment it would be allowed, only a blind person wouldn't be able to draw the conclusion.
Whenever anybody forbids competition or a control study, it is all one needs to know.
This didn't only remind me of Bitcoin and religions, but also of the "vaccine".
Terms like "pure blood" etc and the fact that people started to look for sexual partners based on their "vaccination status" point towards such a fork.
The "unvaccinated" should have forked off and start organizing their own society.
But unfortunately, the state apparatus doesn't allow such forks, which is clear evidence of its imperial roots and cultlike character.

I am on it, sorry for the delay.
Messed up my linux config while I was building a backup cloud with syncthing and before I could fix it I was given a surprise party…
