Does the end justify the means or do the means determine the outcome?

If the answer is the former:
You are a collectivist.
(Supposed common goal > Individual rights)

If the answer is the latter: Individualist.
(Individual rights > Supposed common goal)

Our political views come down to one simple question:

Does the end justify the means, or do the means determine the outcome?

If you believe the former you are a collectivist (socialist), if you believe the latter you are an individualist (anarchist).

In the end, it seems to me, all that matters is wheather or not we respect people's freedom by not violating their rights.

Voluntary vs. Forced

Even socialism is great when it's voluntary.

The problems start when we start forcing people into our system.

Two question test to find out if you are God:

1Did you bring forth everything in existence?
2Do you fart?

If you answer one or more of these questions with 'No' I'm afraid you are just a beautiful creature like the rest of us.

A child of God, if you like.

We are still struggling with the step from being animals to becoming humans and some already want to be gods.

Guess:

Prepare people for the coming digital money by showing them a version of it that has one obvious flaw: anonymity.

Anonymous digital money is the wet dream of everyone interested in extortion, corruption, kidnapping etc.

But then again, all I can do is make sure I do what's right and that, it seems to me, is to honor freedom by not infringing on other people's rights.

Things like this tend to confuse me and provoke wrong-think.

But then I remenber the first two axioms of Coincidence Theory:

Freedom and safety are not mutually exclusive. On the contrary.

Being unfree necessarily implies being unsafe.
