IIRC the Eastern Orthodox Church sort of preserved Sophia as a biblical character without actually introducing any of the Gnostic Gospels? Which is also rising in popularity in the West.
But you would probably know more than I would on that front.
Indeed! In a sense, Gnosticism preserves Christianity in a way that the Romans never did - establishing the Demiurge makes Christ's emergence a clean break with Judaism.
And the "One True God" having no name is kinda Randian, which I vibe with.
Gnosticism is very puritanical and ephemeral - tailor-made as a foil to the Church of Woke Scientism.
I agree that it eschews the physical in a time when action is required, but it's hard not to feel a rising new spiritualism in the counterculture.

Does anyone want a fully on-chain L1 fungible token? It is about 6-8 weeks of work end-to-end tested and basic wallet UI, indexer.
I'm working on other tasks now, but can shift priorities for the right price if people want it to exist sooner.
For all the nonsense, it's amazing what we've all done in a few short years.
The first time I used MoneyButton and saw the Alice OP_RETURN on bottle, it felt like magic. Now I take for granted the greatness of apps like Twetch or castr.fm

If the ultimate goal of being born is to die, and return to where we came from, then the best you can do is enjoy life but not take it so serious, do your best but have fun, save some time from the frustrations to make memories to put in your take with. 💚
