Why don't they make 2 step wallets

In order to transfer the coin to a different wallet, first it has to be transferred to an intermediary wallet you also own, only then can it "unlock" and be transferred to another wallet

i.e. the coldcards would have to transfer to a different wallet that the coldcard hacker wouldnt have access to

So you must send to the physical device first in order to send elsewhere? @882 is a genius then.

Well, people should be using that, it's exponentially safer than using 1 wallet with no airgap.

If the coldcards had to send to one of these first, all those people would still have their funds. Seems like a no-brainer.
