Human's daily lives is full of decisions making, many of that decisions involved money without knowing the outcome (humans aren't all-seer), which are the very characteristics of gambling. So, gambling behaviour is not limited to shaking dices in a board.

Humans trying a new business are also gambling. To say or discriminate a particular act as gambling are just ignorant, for every choices made which involved money and without knowing the exact future are the characteristics of gambling.

Most decisions are gambling, but there are good gambling and bad gambling. What society despises since old times are bad gamblings, which are infamous for their reputation of emptying man's money by using accumulated and passed down dirty tricks.
