My last house was a big 5 bed pool villa
that i renovated lovely,
spent more on renovations than i did the house
had a lovely living room focused on the pool view
no TV inside
the big screen was in the outside lounge, as i got dogs
when i sold it
the first thing the buyer done was butcher the living room and put a big screen up where it was really awkward
and the TV become the focus
nothing worse than a zombie living room
my house now don't have any TV's

one tv in my house
I homeschool, they don't even get to see these edu vids
the only things they get to see on a projector once a week
is wildlife documentaries
my kid counted to 35 at 21 months
counts by 2s and 3s forward and backwards as a 2yo - alphabet is ez, starting to read
I know screentime is a plague, but hard to argue with the results
each to their own, and their environment
we have been programmed to think certain things are an achievement
while missing other important developments
especially at the very young early stages of development
