Y is the last vowel if you count it as a vowel.
And if it were the last letter instead of 2nd to last, then XZ could be alone on 2nd to last line with Y alone on the last. And that would be symmetrical to the top two lines.
Get what you are saying now. It's still symmetrical in its current state. But according to your understanding you see a better harmonic with a vowel finishing the sequence. I like your perspective.
