In a new domain, a wild frontier or crystallizing environment, we don't need the patterns from the old world. We need chaotic experimentation that comes from individually unique expression. We need people who aren't afraid to use the tools in unseen ways.

The stability of a crystallizing zone depends on how fruitful its potential rewards are for creative expression. The more opportunity there is to create a sustainable feedback loop of experimentation and growth, the faster it will crystallize.

A crystallizing environment is unknown, it is a new domain. The slave agents that maintain a crystallized zone lack the creativity that the catalytic agents possess. These catalysts are the free thinkers who define new areas of expression.

The "wild frontier" archetype is a crystallizing (versus crystallized) environment. Crystallized environments require agents that will maintain the crystallization, while crystallizing environments require catalytic agents that will create new paradigms.

The faster it crystallizes, the more infrastructure there is for a larger bandwidth of unique experimentation. Keep in mind this is not a binary choice between crystallized and crystallizing, but a strange looping process.

The question is: as crystallized environments require more and more maintenance, and new areas of expression are being crystallized, will you continue the old patterns? Or will you be a catalyst of unique expression, creating new worlds for humanity?
