I think you are mixing definitions of literal and metaphorical. Which is fine. But metaphorical "heaven" to believers in after life won't mean outer space to them, just because the literal definition points that direction.

their heaven is a subjective reality. mine is based on logic/science. which is sad because they live out ironic/hypocritical lives.
they are trying to get to a heaven that is always out of reach, when on earth, every moment should be considered divine.
