Generative art begins as a smart contract which contains all possible outputs. They exist in a state of quantum super position, until someone sends cryptocurrency to the smart contract. The contract produces a random output which when minted is officially observed in the universe. The artist creates the smart contract, the collector mints the artwork. Both parties are entangled with the outputs. The outputs surprise the universe. It’s new information. It’s poetic.
