Truly sad. Evidence of a broken system. I wonder if someday “going public” will look different than IPOs and stock prices. I wonder if something else will be more auspicious.

159 - the number of U.S. companies that went public in 2019. that is a pathetic number thanks to the regulatory nightmare going public provides a business. we should be launching 1,000s of public companies every year
