The Protestant Reformation is also celebrated as beginning on this day, because of its significance on the calendar. Should we not celebrate Reformation Day because it wasn’t a biblical holy day?

Its interesting that everyone is focused on the religious aspect rather than the poisonous candy fed to the children, how do u know if these hyper doses of sugar are not contributing to children's diabetes, drug use, addiction, depression, obesity, etc?

There's no candy in the picture, and my family is very health conscious. Although, I do partake in some holiday celebratory eating, it's certainly not on par with the typical, lazy American consumption of trash.
I'm speaking generally as a public that participates... my parents use to let us pig out on it. I assume I'm not alone, and I assume it still goes on.
Why though, what possible benefit is it? the kids don't know shit about religion, most are atheist...
