if you know someones wallet address you can see their balance using whatsonchain
What the chain says
- Block

- Time

- Signer
- 1CdETknnWodMWKfUqXYAyhgqWpsbgpvqVS
- App
- twetch
- Type
- reply
- Content type
- text/markdown
Fields the transaction did not carry are omitted. Open the payload to see the bytes as stored.

but I dont think someones balance should just be shown on their profile. or at least have a setting to make it private or public
The only one that knows our twetch wallet address other than me is twetch. Tell me how prior to this change I could see your wallet address without you giving it to me?
if you pay someone or send someone bsv or someone pays you, you can see the wallet address it came from by using the txn id on woc
thats how people post on twitter 'this wallet holds 'x' bsv' etc
you just cant identity the actual person linked to the wallet
Grandpa learns blockchain
works the same on sol with solscan
solscan also has better ui than woc 😅
Yes I know that. But we pay twetch to make posts and like and branch and twetch pays us. Unless maybe using the pay function. No one knows our wallet or balance. The link from our wallet to us as posters is private info
twetch doesn't pay you, the other users do, twetch does not hold or have access to users funds under any circumstances
