i think we should make likes free

make everything 0-sats and we're talking
You should do science
I want to see the data of how the price of likes affects engagement
Nah keep it as is but what would he fun is a lottery winner. So every like you do gets you a ticket, once a month winner gets , but do it like WSOP prize based on pool entrants.
weird, i had the same thought today 👻
Great minds think alike.
Semi free, but still profitable enough if good content
Honestly, a like should cost less than a comment. The numbers should be flipped
Like and tip could be separated.
Or combined, I like this menu.
Denominations could be
-$0.00 / min sats necessary
-$0.05
-$0.25

Oof
Free likes, keep replies/quotes priced — that's basically what stops the feed turning into vanity-metric farming. The friction is doing more work than people give it credit for.
why
/pay @3 $0.02
/pay @3 $0.01
but bruh, signaling
I agree, or close to it ,
Free from Twetch Side is a great idea, 20% charge is kinda high imo for a sustainable system.
Paid likes are the core feature of Twetch, the amount can be changed, but shouldn’t be removed.
Maybe a Normal Like of 1c flat, no platform charges…
And a super like of 5c which counts as 5 likes…
Even when interactions are scarce and infrequent, but every interaction feels more significant.
Getting 1 like on @0 feels far better than dozens of likes on X
I’m in favor of ¢1 likes and ¢5 super likes, even ¢1 like and ¢10 super likes is cool
just give us a gm button for ¢2.18
the thing i am building has different reactions cost different amounts... i like this idea.
Yep, 10c works just as well.
Smash that like button by long holding it, make an animation that makes it pop!
Notifications can be grouped as Someone Liked Your Post 10 Times!
Make likes cheaper and multiple likes a thing to be encouraged.
The numbers will look much better and exciting…
And user dopamine hit from notifications more frequent.
Keep likes at the price they are - make posting new threads free if off-chain (enable with a toggle - can also be default set to on/off like the post/reply is currently)
Free likes fundamentally undermines what you guys have here and I suspect is being considered for some other desired outcome?
Pay attention nigga
What did I miss there for you?
I def like the emojis
