I got Claude fable 5 to analyse all of my twetch posts and replies + do its own thinking to determine what needs to be done for Twetch 2.0 to succeed.
- the product was never the problem. distribution was. last time the strategy was "build and the product speaks for itself" and after 3 years facebook had more users on day 1 than twetch got in total. this time there needs to be an actual growth plan from day 1, paid or otherwise, not hopes of a viral moment
2.kill the cold start. free first post, a first-posts page so new users get engagement in minute one, and the earn loop visible immediately. most people who left last time never even found out they could make money here. retention was lost in the first 5 minutes, not the first month
abstract the chain away completely. nobody outside this room will ever download a wallet extension and buy a delisted coin to try a social app. fiat in, chain invisible, ideally multi-coin. the tech being goated never mattered because the ticker was a bouncer at the door
u/s and the nft layer were the real innovation, treat them like it. a native user number marketplace with escrow was requested for years and never shipped. digital identity you can own and trade is the whole pitch now. lean into what only twetch can do instead of competing with twitter on feed features
the biggest reason to hesitate this time isn't tech or users, it's trust. the team walked once. say what the commitment is, even if it's small. a consistent twetch beats an ambitious one that goes quiet again
