Voting counting machines have vote counter equipt companies, run by people and software developers, and all sorts of money backers and suppliers.
An inside vector of trusted authority is corrupted.
This is much like BTC Core Devs and Blockstream.

how can we make voting what do they call, trustless or zero trust? Isnt this the killer app for bitcoin sv. Im not a developer just a wanna be but it seems like it would be trivial to implement for an open source based software company.

In this system, there is still identity. So there are still challenges like who issues it and who applies rules of eligibility. So there is still authority. At least its internally transparent, not enabling of the subversive authority I was referring to.
I've not thought about it much but what I'd suggest is focus on local elections, even HOAs, and shareholder votes and gradually build up processes and systems.
screw hoa's. If you buy into one of those you dont believe in private property anyway so keep voting left.
context my friend. I wasn't endorsing, it was an example of something that does small votes
