i'm interested in the "cleanability". are the glass panels connected by brackets only or does this enclosure require silicone joints all around the glass panels?

The overwhelming majority of these units require silicone on some level both for its moisture-retention properties, and for structural redundancy.

A proper silicone application would be very cleanable, as it should “look like a machine did it.”

I call this the Hardman Rule.

do you expect any issues with mold? i imagine the enclosure will not easily "dry out" completely in regular use, unless strictly used only once a day or in very dry climate

I actually called the customer yesterday to check in on how the product was faring.

He has a high-performance ventilation fan right next to the shower door (on the ceiling), and he says it’s worked well to move the water vapor.

No mold… Yet.

thank you. It's hard to tell from the picture, but I only now realized that the ceiling corners are angled? Interesting! With that in mind it the enclosure makes a lot more sense, as the ceiling of the room is lower than it seems, and the water vapor from an open hot shower might condense on the angled surfaces.
