I don't like speculating on NFT's at all, I think most will go to 0.

Another point I just made to him is "What if a famous artist released an NFT collection, would they be worthless?" What if da vinci, or banksy, etc, released an NFT collection? People would value them. They would retain their value and appreciate, actually. Doesn't matter that they can be "copy pasted", there's still digital provenance attached to the originals, there's still true ownership.

People will because money laundering services have value

Sure, but to others the art itself has value as well.

You pull the plug on the grift, you are left with a very niche and illiquid market. Without the dollar signs and influence it stripped down to the bare minimum. Like Crypto

I don't think so, but then I see things like NFT markets for video game collectibles in the future.

I.e. your favorite game streamer plays in a tournament with NFT skins, wins the tournament. Now the NFT skins have added value/provenance for collectors.

I think this is much more likely to become a big thing than NFT art.

Yes, that will be fun and interesting. I can see that being a big market
