Once I shared a room with my brother. We slept in a bunk bed. He was on the top bunk, I was on the bottom. It collapsed on me and crushed me. The glue gave out - to this day I still wonder why it wasn’t screwed in properly.
Anyway, when he fell on me I literally died. I saw myself lying there, pinned underneath. I moved to the kitchen and saw my parents frozen in place over breakfast. I was shouting at them, but they didn’t react at all. I came to when my parents were trying to revive me.
Today I was talking to my brother and asked him, “Do you know you once killed me?” Only then did I tell him that I saw myself from the outside - it must have been an out-of-body experience. The atmosphere was priceless…
