I’m familiar with Steven Van Metre, just watched that interview again. His deflation view still doesn’t convince me.“The dollar is going to go sub orbital”, me thinks DXY is doomed. Time will tell if this Bond Bull is vindicated.
Ok, just let me guess you’re American? The dollar will “die” but first deflation. Which currency will be allowed to appreciate against the dollar do you think?
I view all fiat as a race to the bottom. I still view the shiny rock, and its miners, as a good insurance if inflation occurs. I will keep a close eye on the DXY. Currently 90c, SVM and co think 100c and more is possible. I think < 80c incoming. Let’s see!
