Most marketplaces for digital collectables/NFTs people treat them like a token, or a tiered token based on rarity or attributes. Buying and selling asset futures basically. On Twetch more people make their own independent value judgements based on taste, appraise items independently, and the market is made by where evaluations align and bunch. Curation is part of that too. But that's why things feel different here. Why it's more fun, items more valuable and appreciated, market more active, not a race to the bottom for token traders. The more the market design recognizes and supports that the better off it is.
