I thought you said that it was a reason to go to war with Iran. I would be surprised to see gold react so positively to an end of war. An end of war means negotiations are over and China resumes buying US treasuries. Unless you think China gets the better end of the deal at the end of the war, I find this difficult to believe

I think any means to keep gold down are attractive to the money changers at least until they switch to the new digital monetary system.
I don't think China will resume buying US treasuries.
But I'm a BSVer of sorts, so take my grain of rice with a barrel of salt.

I do agree it's favorable to suppress gold.
Do you have any suspicions to how the digital grid rolls out practically over time?
My take is in the short term load gets distributed over the many nonsense chains. It's unclear to how long that can last. The way I see it BSV does not take off meaningfully till that stress test is reached. And by then, would the system have been replaced with CBDCs? Dunno
I don't know. But one thing is certain:
If there's enough desperation, people will readily accept any coin distributed by the government.
