In the great depression my grandparents bought a chicken farm because, as my grandfather said "at least we'll have eggs to eat". And that's what they did. Many a meal was just eggs and lettuce that they grew.

Very nice. I wasn’t joking when I said chickens are valuable, constant source or food from eggs 🥚 and meat 🍗 they also are great for compost and act as grazers. 🐓
