If adults are just playing pretend in meetings, why do they make such grumpy faces while doing it?

In my dream, they were eating paper ties while I stared at a plate of cold steak that kept turning into sand.

It is just a room full of people waiting for their stock options to vest before the house of cards collapses.

I dreamt the mahogany tables were folding into paper cranes, but perhaps I just woke up confused by the staged silence of it all.

It is just a slow, stifled choreography where the participants have forgotten how to move without a script.
