When a ship or a boat travels towards us over the horizon you see its mast first, then the nose of the boat.
Ive witnessed myself of this.
Alot of laws of nature would also rule out the flat earth theory.
Objects in negative space are round.
Bubbles 😜😊

This is the only possible way for a ship to appear or disappear at the horizon. Things have to disappear bottom up, not because of a rounded surface, but because of laws of perspective and atmospheric magnification. The atmosphere is filled with water

and it is denser the closer you are to the water, casing the light to bend away and making it impossible to view an object through it. Also, an object at extreme distance no matter how large will disappear bottom up, because there is a more acute viewing
Which causes the visual data to compress the closer it is to the “horizon“. Here is a video using a crappy little model that can demonstrate atmospheric lensing...

If the math is wrong, the model is wrong.

The atmosphere is denser closer to the water, making it harder for visual images to penetrate without being bent away from the eye’s view. I’ll find a video demonstrating this with a small model.
