It’could be way worse. One hypothetical scenario; Universal High Income ushered in on the back of staggering productivity increases from AI. This will placate everyone for a few years. Allowing all keys to everything to be handed to AI as benefits increase to everyone. There is zero opposition now. Billionaires retreat to their bunkers, Super AI removes us 8 billion useless eaters. Immortality awaits the bunker inhabitants who organised everything.

I could believe a more "Universal Basic Income" slowly getting better as Ayyy mentions, but then I do agree the keys to everything will be willingly handed over to this system by most. AI will decrypt most current cryptography. Thanks for the ideas. This lead my mind to wondering if AI could fork BSV to a controlled Bitcoin? It would have to fake consensus from 51% of nodes... So hypothetically if there are 8 billion actual nodes... AI creates 9 billion... now has 51% consensus... all "good" chains jump to new controlled chain... Is that even possible? 🤔

It's the year 2037 and all BSV'ers have been vindicated, rEaL BiTcOiN has become the one global and only chain used by everything. One slight problem though, the previous year in 2036 AI's wiped out all of humanity.
So we DO all become filthy rich… but we in the grave… thats better than just in the ground i guess, haha.
