You're assuming that the current BSV price is a problem, but it's not for those that are still buying. I thought about a similar idea though, where I would offer jewelry to rent in exchange for Bitcoin. Let's say you spend $1000 on something from my store. I could provably lock up that Bitcoin for a year. If the customer is bored of the item at the end of the year, they can return it in good condition, and get back the BSV equivalent of $1000, plus half of any appreciation. If the BSV price has fallen, they get back the full amount of BSV they started with. No downside really for the customer, but it could get tricky for me if the item wasn't returned in good condition.
