This is your example of taxation?

VAT? Because buying the product (gas) is voluntarily? So now that makes a third party interfering (taking money) with two people making a deal also voluntarily?

Why are you in bitcoin if you believe that?

I don't want a third party involved in my transactions, taking money by threat of force. Do you?

Peer to peer.

in my example, yes.

from expwrience of living I can tell you 100% not enough people would bother to voluntarily chip in to fund public infra etc. Never gonna happen.

And that's great.
They don't need to.

If they are lucky they still get to use it because those who do chip in are generous.

If not they live without it.

Live and let live.
