Nice to meet you too! lately we've been having a heat wave with temps going from 36°c to 40°c so i've been drinking a mate variant called terere.
I deeply recommend to try it

1. get some ice in a glass or mate and insert the straw so the end is below and covered with ice (cold water makes it harder to get the yerba wet and might plug the straw if you move it after adding yerba) and add a few tablespoons of yerba
2. Prepare some juice (preferably real fruit juice with orange and lemon and some sugar and maybe mint if you have some fresh leaves) and add lots of ice
