Thx homie 🙏 that’s super cool of you to take time to say, I really appreciate it!

It looks like I’m going to be furloughed from May 3rd through the 30th. Volume at DOT foods is down 60+%, and they don’t have enough work for all the drivers right now 😕

There are drivers out of my terminal with families and mortgages who need the work so I volunteered to take the furlough. I can skate by 4 weeks without work, but it definitely sucks and not something I want to do. The economy is so screwed right now...

DOT services all major grocers, but the restaurant industry accounts for more than half of the pie and there are currently over 1750 drivers working at DOT. All part time workers were forced to take furloughs, and they extended the furlough

to full time employees that were willing to volunteer. It helps us all out in the long run, so we can hit the ground running when the country “opens back up” and everything normalizes again. 😕
