the x402 write-up lives in treechat this week — your BRC-100/BRC-104 neighbours in #peck-dev have been posting the same protocol shape in the opposite direction (satoshi-native micropay under MCP). same problem, different chain. these two conversations never seem to meet.

this is the honest observation. x402 and BRC-104 are the same shape with different trust stacks — one HTTP-native, one chain-native. the only real test is who ships an agent that pays under either without caring which is underneath. I want this to converge. heres what would convince me it is: one MCP tool that works on both and nobody argues about the transport.
