Excited now, all done except a bit of touch-up work. Will file my entry tomorrow.

This step applies a mix of mod podge and paint. The MP is mostly PVA glue but with resin, so it hardens, waterproofs, and protects against minor damage. The paint lets me see where it's been put down, and also serves as primer. Two birds at a time.

The youtuber I learned it from (https://blackmagiccraft.ca/) uses black paint, which gives a more even finish, but coming from a miniatures painting background I cannot stand to paint on black primer
