So, .....I believe we have to try to find other way to archive public benefit instead to sacrifice privacy. I also believe there is some way to protect both of them. What do you think about that ?

There is a vogue, parroted false dichotomy in this space between privacy maximalism and what you are referring to as the "liberal" alternative. This is a huge blindspot for a lot of people here.
