Re-watching "Enemy of the State", released in 1998. It is interesting that the NSA character played by John Voight, who ordered the murder of a congressman, happened to be born on 9/11/40.
I'm old enough to remember the existence of the NSA being a conspiracy theory...
Then the idea that they spy on everyone was a conspiracy theory...
Then came Snowden...
