Recently, I came into the realisation that Pi Network might not actually be sold on the market due to securities law. And that will actually make Pi the only network that are viable as a currency?
It passes the Howey Test
I) There is no common enterprise (community's effort).
Ii) No expectation of profits from others, instead using it as currency.
Iii) It is not an investment of money.
