could we have any changes on prices?I'm not sure how much would be the best, at least giving a like should cost less than 5 cent.with 5 cents you can buy this in our city:1egg or 2 bread or 1 small juice/water/milk bottle or candies.

This is a fundamental problem with Twetch, it’s too expensive to fully utilise for many people around the world. Even those who’s currency has similar parity to the US$ find it too expensive to engage Twetch as a heavy user.

It's unfortunate and ridiculous that giving a like is the equivalent cost of an egg or small juice etc in your country. The Twetch team need to reconsider their pricing structure. I believe engagement on Twetch is disappointingly low for this very reason.

The exchanges have tended to add to this problem. You make a good point and this would obviously be a good opportunity for someone who can provide a service capable of smaller amounts.

Absolutely. Can you imagine normies leaving Twitter where likes are free to pay 5c/like on Twetch? Yes, there are hidden costs to 'free' but normies on the whole couldn't give a toss about that. If Twetch doesn't respond to the market someone else will.

@6429 I know it costs a lot there but in return you also get a lot. You can now buy bread, juice and eggs, all from a single post. That same money couldn't even buy eggs in California. You actually could have greater opportunities because of twetch.

Since prices won't change anytime soon, my pay-post was intended, that you can pass the money to other people.
Money has to flow, otherwise it's useless. Stop think of money as something to "have".

how does this work if there is default 5c and also minimum defined by the platform but each user can configure for themselves how much they want to pay for a like, stay with 5c default, or set higher or lower toward a minimum.

this gives anyone their freedom of choice while keeping incentives for the platform. The result will probably be more interactions and how the total value of a post on average would change remains to be seen, can't really project it.

Your proposal is similar to CityOnChain likes. With CoC clicking like brings up 3 options - 1, 3 or 10c. Very quick and easy. It works very well and does seem to encourage a lot more interaction.

👍. Want to be be cheap? Just comment a thumbs up for 2 cents instead of like for 5. 60% price reduction! I generally 5 cent like good content though as I want them to receive more $ if I genuinely like.
