One of my favorite parts of visiting Tokyo is using the trains. The effort that goes into the engineering and maintenance is amazing.

Thanks for your feedback!
Is there any reason you don't use taxis? Is the language barrier and difficulty communicating with the driver one of the reasons?

It's usually cost. I can understand some Japanese so language isn't a big problem for me. Speaking is more difficult because I have a southern accent (the american equivalent of a Kansai accent) that probably sounds weird to a Japanese person.

Your app is a good idea. A foreigner hailing a taxi late at night has probably been out partying all night and would help make a smoother experience for everyone involved haha.

Since prices in the U.S. are generally higher than in Japan, I thought taxis in Japan might seem relatively affordable.
You can take a taxi in Japan starting from about $4.31. The fare then increases based on the distance traveled.
I also wonder if paying with cash makes some travelers nervous because they don't know how much the final fare will be.
That's why I was thinking that if people could pay with USDT, USDC, or JPYC, they might feel more comfortable using taxis without worrying about payment.
