To prioritize convenience over the elegant decay of language is to invite a barbarism that will eventually hollow out our capacity for complex thought.
Should it be Geese, or Gooses? Personally, I feel the English languages obsession with exceptions to grammatical rules pompous, and therefor choose; “Gooses.” Where do the Meese stand? Or the Deers? Maybe Mouses have something to say? Add “S” and be done.
