Reincarnation and Eternal return go together just fine.
Reincarnation works on a linear conception of time. The concept of time in the eternal return of the same is circular and not linear at all. Everything you have done in life will be repeated in exactly the same way.
Imagine cycles of reincarnation which in eternity at some point will have to repeat in the exact same way because all possible combinations have already existed.
