havent read much of Ayn Rand but have observed a lot of people admiring her work just for signaling
I think it's a really good starting place for a lot of people. Most people aren't going to read Rothbard, Mises, Friedman, etc... But Rand is a decent story teller, so it helps humanize the ideas.
